HOTEL PARKING
Hotel parking is free, and you can find a location map, hotel parking and electric car charging information using the QR Code. The hotel has asked me to remind you to bring your own cable should you require to charge your vehicle. I have also attached copies of the official documents for your information.
ARRIVAL AND CHECK-IN
We are advised by the hotel that guests staying overnight will be able to check-in from 3.00pm, however every effort will be made to have the rooms available before this time, but this cannot be guaranteed. Please report to the main reception desk where a UPN staff member will be on hand at the express check in desk located opposite the main reception desk and as you walk through the main hotel entrance.
To help with the check in process your room cards will be in named envelopes in alphabetical order. The envelopes will also display the QR Code.
If, when you arrive at the express check in desk your envelope is not there, please go to the reception desk as your room may not have been released by housekeeping. Should you require credit, again please report to the reception desk to add your credit card to your room.
ITINERARY
Whilst your stay is at the Orchard Hotel, the awards ceremony is taking place in the East Midlands Conference Centre (EMCC), a very short walk to the building next door, by the main entrance of the hotel.Between 2.30pm and 4.00pm in the Orchard Hotel lobby, you will have the opportunity to take part in an activity that will only take a few minutes. Don’t worry, all will be revealed during the evening!
Your evening will commence at 5.00pm with a champagne reception in the Concourse Bar situated in the East Midlands Conference Centre. Should you wish to go down earlier the Concourse bar will be open and the photographers in situ from 4.30pm.
You will be called through to the banqueting suite at 5.45pm for a prompt 6.00pm start. Dinner will be served at 7.30pm.
Bacon rolls, fried egg rolls and vegan rolls will be served in the Concourse at 1.00am.
The EMCC Concourse Bar will close at 2.00am where the evening will end, and guests can retire to Bramley’s Bar situated in the reception area of the Orchard Hotel.
DRESS CODE
As a reminder, the dress code for the event is black tie, evening / cocktail dress, dinner jacket / dark lounge suit.
